My house ground rod is not to far from where the antenna will go but the copper will have to go out and down one side.
The house will act as a natural shield and as long as your attic mounted antenna system is independent to the rest of your antennas lightning won t be an issue.
Again the clamp you will need will depend on the diameter of your antenna mast.
